Bringing Help, Hope and Healing to Victims and Survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault through the Arts Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program (ACVAP), working
Storytelling is an essential way for survivors of domestic violence to communicate their experiences. Unfortunately, however, for victims in a rural community like Pagosa Springs, telling their stories often threatens confidentiality and risks their safety. With “The Me I Want to Be” project, survivors can communicate their stories through a medium that is healing and keeps their identities safe.
